Sophos Brand Sales Specialist

General Summary:

TechXtend, a value-added reseller of IT products and services, is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill its Sophos Brand Sales Specialist position. Sophos is a Global Leader of specialized IT security solutions. In this role, you would be responsible for increasing product awareness within our current database as well as private and public sector prospects with the ultimate goal of increasing the sales of all Sophos products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Achieving Sophos revenue requirements and TechXtend's GP requirements on Sophos product line
  • Cultivating strong relationships and act as the primary point of contact for all things Sophos
  • Consistently articulating TechXtend's value proposition to current customers and prospects
  • Acting as liaison between other sales and operation groups to ensure rapid transaction times and ultimate customer satisfaction

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with CRM and forecasting systems
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent telephone selling skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks appropriately


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Passion for Sales and Technology
  • Previous VAR experience is a plus
  • Some travel may be required
